B’nai Mitzvah at OMJS

B’nai Mitzvah at OMJS

A milestone shapedaround your child.

Year-long preparation gives each student the time, expert guidance and confidence to lead a meaningful Bar or Bat Mitzvah ceremony — surrounded by family, friends and the OMJS community.

A full year to grow into the moment

Preparation that builds skill, meaning and confidence.

The goal is not simply to get through a ceremony. Students learn what they are doing, why it matters and how to stand in front of the people they love with genuine ownership.

א

Read and chant with confidence

Individualized pacing supports Hebrew reading, blessings and Torah preparation without rushing the learning.

?

Understand and find your voice

Students explore the meaning behind the ritual and receive support shaping a thoughtful D’var Torah in their own words.

Lead and celebrate

Practice in service leadership helps the ceremony feel familiar, personal and joyful when family and friends gather.

A more open path to B’nai Mitzvah

Celebrate Jewishly without joining a synagogue.

OMJS offers families a welcoming way to mark this milestone at the Soloway JCC. No synagogue membership is required, and the ceremony can reflect your child, your family and the Jewish values that matter to you.
