Inclusive Learning Support

Helping Every Child Thrive at OMJS

At OMJS, every child deserves to feel welcomed, supported and able to participate meaningfully in Jewish learning and community life.

A supportive and inclusive approach

Thoughtful support, centred on each child.

Children learn and participate in different ways. Some may benefit from additional support with learning, attention, sensory processing, social participation or emotional regulation.

Our Learning Support Program provides thoughtful, individualized assistance that builds on each student’s strengths. The goal is to help children participate with confidence, remain connected to their class and peers, and experience a genuine sense of belonging at OMJS.

How the program works

Flexible support within the school day.

A qualified Learning Support Teacher works with students during the regular school day. The type and frequency of support are determined thoughtfully and may adapt as a student’s needs evolve.

Support is provided sensitively and discreetly, with a focus on helping every child feel confident, capable and fully included.

01
Support in the classroomSupport may be provided naturally within the classroom, allowing students to remain engaged with their teacher and peers.

Could Your Child Benefit from Additional Support?

If you believe your child may benefit from the Learning Support Program, we invite you to contact OMJS. We will begin with a brief, confidential questionnaire and a conversation about your child’s strengths, experiences and needs. Together, we will consider what kind of support may help your child feel comfortable and successful at OMJS.
